Brampton Travel Guide
Welcome to Brampton!
Brampton is the third largest city in the Greater Toronto Area, with a population of over 400,000 people. Brampton is a short drive north of Mississauga and is also located within close proximity of Lake Ontario. Historically known as the “Flowertown of Canada”, Brampton is home to a selection of well-groomed green spaces and charming farms, offering 'pick your own fruits and vegetables' and delivering a dose of small-town charm and fresh country air. The Brampton Farmers Market is a popular attraction, as many of the area's produce farmers, artists and collectors can be found there. Brampton also offers a variety of recreational opportunities. Wild Water Kingdom is one of Canada's largest outdoor waterparks and offers summer entertainment that is perfect for the entire family. During the winter months people flock to Gage Park, where temperature-controlled outdoor ice skating is the prime attraction.
